🚀 How AI Is Changing My Storyboarding Process!

Storyboarding can be a time-consuming step, but like I've been saying lately, AI has become a major part of my workflow. For my latest project, I mentioned before that I used Legos for the storyboarding work. Around the time shooting began I started sketching around storyboard ideas for shots that were added or changed after I've already put in the time to make the storyboard.

Knowing I don't have time to make an updated version, I used AI to quickly sketch rough scenes to communicate ideas with my team. Instead of manually drawing or posing every frame, AI helped me create a dynamic storyboard in half the time.

🏗️ Using Legos to create a storyboard is a novel idea I got from reading about Quyen Tran's work on Palm Springs. But it is so much work that it just isn't usually feasible if you don't have some serious time and money.
AI isn’t replacing our creative skills, but it does allow us to save time and focus on refining ideas. Have you tried AI for storyboarding? Would love to hear your experience!
